Just got back from a brief vacation to learn of the passing of Jack Bruce at age 71. Rock pioneers don't come any bigger. His bass lines were so creative and yet down on the groove. One of my favorites - his lines in Sitting on Top of the World. Can't say enough about his originality and talent.

Not to mention his voice (much to Eric's chagrin) There has been a number of significant passings recently, but probably not many of tge stature of JB. R.I.P. Jack.

Yes I agree Mr. Bruce was an amazing bass player. All my experience with Jack are the Cream years, great energy and great vocals.
